Why TTH
Warranty Framework
Depending on model: structure up to 20 years, motor 5 years, and AkzoNobel coating up to 12 years. Order terms specify coverage.
Discuss your project
Ask for a component-by-component coverage list
Structure, finish, roof mechanism, motor, control, lighting and side systems perform different jobs. Ask which are covered, for how long, when the period starts and what remedy is offered. Also clarify labor, access equipment, freight and installation costs: supplying a replacement part and replacing it on site are different scopes. If the proposal is for a solar canopy, request the relevant terms for the structure and each selected electrical component. For a retractable awning, identify the frame, fabric and operating equipment in the same way.
Service procedure when the roof stops partway
A useful service request describes the behavior before assigning a cause. Record which control was used, whether the issue affects the whole roof or one area, when it began and whether other equipment still responds. Take an overview and a short video from a safe position, and include the product identification already supplied with the order. The manual distinguishes the drive, linkage and electrical connections; the symptom alone does not identify which part needs attention. Stop using a malfunctioning mechanism and request guidance rather than forcing movement or opening electrical equipment.

Keep a small, useful service file
Good records reduce repeated questions and help distinguish delivery condition, installation details and later operation. Follow the maintenance information supplied for the selected configuration; do not infer a universal cleaning interval or weather operating limit from a different model.
- Order reference, final configuration, written warranty and relevant equipment labels.
- Receiving photographs, installation handover date and the responsible installer contact.
- Operating instructions, agreed drainage access and dated maintenance observations.
- For a fault: overview, close detail, timing, conditions and any action already taken.
Resolve the service route before confirming the order
Ask who receives a service request, what evidence is needed and how a proposed repair is agreed. Clarify whether parts, remote assistance or installation services are included, and how replacement availability and delivery are handled. Review the maintenance and installation conditions in the actual terms, together with the procedure for reporting transport damage. Request the written warranty with the quotation and retain the version supplied with your order. A clear service contact and a matching component reference make it easier to agree the next action.
