How to Choose an Aluminum Louvered Pergola

Compare motorized louvered pergolas and fixed-roof pavilions. Start with patio dimensions, mounting conditions, roof function and installation responsibilities.

1. Decide what the roof should do

A motorized louvered roof changes the opening above the space to adjust shade and airflow. The Hardtop Garden Pavilion is a separate fixed-roof product. Compare the roof function first, then confirm the available size and equipment.

2. Compare the profile families

TTH 145/175 and TTH 200/220 use different profile sections. Review the published dimensions with the proposed layout and structural conditions. Larger section numbers do not automatically establish an approved clear span, wind rating or snow capacity.

3. Plan the sides and services

Decide whether you need screens, glass, lighting or heaters. Coordinate openings, furniture, cable routes, controls and water outlets before the quotation is finalized.

4. Confirm the complete scope

Check the drawings, finish, equipment, packing, delivery terms and installation responsibilities in writing. Local approvals and foundations may require review by professionals at the project location.
